Our mission is to exhibit and promote established and emerging artists from North, Central and South America, to provide a dialogue between art from the regions. From 1961 to 1965, Emanoel Araújo attended the School of Fine Arts of Bahia, where he studied engraving with Henrique Oswald (1918 - 1965). During the same period, he produced illustrations, posters and scenery for the theatre. Among his woodcuts of the time, some may be noted which already have reliefs, folds or wrinkles.
